Paleo On The Go – Thanksgiving Delivered!

October 12, 2016 by zenbelly 3 Comments

Some people love nothing more than spending hours in the kitchen preparing for their Thanksgiving feast. If that doesn’t describe you, or you simply don’t have time to devote to the kitchen mid-week, I’ve got some good news for you:

Paleo On The Go is cooking up Thanksgiving feasts this year, and they’re delivering them right to your doorstep!  There are two options to choose from: a Paleo Thanksgiving Feast and an AIP Thanksgiving Feast. I recently got to sample the Paleo option, and was very pleasantly surprised! I wasn’t sure how a frozen Thanksgiving would travel or reheat. Plus, I have this idea in my head of what Thanksgiving should taste like, and am sort of picky about it. But… I loved it!

Here’s what comes in each feast

Here’s what I loved about it:

  1. It all tasted really delicious. The flavors were simple and balanced, and the food all tasted very fresh, despite it being frozen and reheated. The turkey, somehow, was not dried out. I can’t say that about most Thanksgiving turkeys that haven’t been frozen and reheated!
  2. Clean up was a breeze. It’s not just the prep of Thanksgiving that’s daunting, it’s the clean up too! This meal left behind nothing but dirty plates and silverware; the containers are all recyclable.
  3. The serving sizes were generous. My sample was technically a serving for one, but two of us made a meal out of it and were happily satisfied with how much we ate.
  4. Prices are absolutely reasonable. Especially considering my third point, taking into consideration the quality of ingredients they use, and the fact that it’s shipped to your door for free, I do not hesitate saying that it’s a steal. I would no doubt spend more purchasing all of the ingredients to cook a meal for 4-8 people, and that’s not even factoring in the time involved. (and the hassle of supermarkets the week of and before Thanksgiving!)

What’s even more to love is that they’re offering $20 off if you preorder between now and October 15th! Just enter 20THANKS at checkout after you place your order at Paleo On The Go

I’ve been in and out of the hospital for two months now, so I was very excited to see a Paleo/AIP Thanksgiving meal being offered this way! Just ordered both for my family so I can get the much needed rest this year! Thank you for sharing this!
