Paleo Popup at a Sonoma Ranch

About a year ago, I was one of the lucky guests at one of the first local ranch dinners in the area.  It was by far one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The day included a ranch tour, passed hors d’oeuvres, and five incredible courses at this table:

2:00-3:00pm  Welcome Reception with De Loach Vineyards and appetizers by Zenbelly Catering

3:00-4:00pm  Ranch Tour

4:00-7:00pm  Dinner by Zenbelly Catering

Appetizers:

 

deviled eggs | summer herbs
steak tartare | anchovy, mustard & capers
ginger scallion pork meatballs | sweet & spicy dipping sauce

 

Entree:

 

one

bacon 3 ways
five spice lamb bacon | grilled bok choy, shaved watermelon radish
peppered beef bacon | sweet pickles, arugula, mustard
bourbon smoked pork bacon | little gems, heriloom tomatoes, aioli

two

beef summer sausage | fennel sauerkraut, apples, roasted squash “hummus”

three

garlic-rosemary leg of lamb | roasted vegetables, gremolata, red wine sauce

four

apple blackberry crumble | vanilla bean coconut whipped cream
