Happy Halloween! As always, I panic-bought candy at the last minute earlier today, juuuust in case we get a trick or treater. Usually we get none, but what if some cute kids came to the door and we had nothing to give out? We’d have to hide and ignore the doorbell. That’s almost as bad as giving our dental floss or raisins, right?
But most likely, I’ll have a bowlful of lollipops and peanut M&Ms come tomorrow. There are worse things, I suppose!
In related news, it’s already November, and that is kind of beyond my comprehension. That means it’s time to start thinking about Thanksgiving, yippee! Alright enough about that, let’s talk about What To Cook Next Week!
After watching Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat (which I LOVED and highly highly recommend), I remembered that I have a Buttermilk Marinated Chicken recipe, except a dairy-free version! I’m definitely going to make Samin Nosrat’s too, it looked amazing.
